ePortfolio Ambassador

As an ePortfolio ambassador, I have served many roles. I began my work with the Auburn University ePortfolio project in May 2013. Over the years I have been a part of and watched this program grow into the well oiled machine it is today.

As an ambassador, I work with the directors and assistants for the program in order to promote ePortfolios to students, and sometimes faculty. I have done this through presentations, workshops, brainstorming activities, and outreach. I have attended and co-presented at an AAEEBL conference and served on a student panel at an AAC&U conference. I have also been a member of the hiring committee for some of the project leadership roles.

Serving as an ambassador has helped me improve my ability to speak to groups - small and large. My role has also taught me what it means to be appreciated for my ideas. Further, the connections I have made with the people I have met as a result of my role have been invaluable to my growth as a team member in my roles as a student, teacher, and leader.
